Since they made the trade that brought Kyrie Irving to their team, the Dallas Mavericks have been spiraling out of control.
The move raised a lot of playoff hopes for Dallas by adding the explosive duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving to their roster, but so far, they haven’t been able to capitalize on those hopes by winning games with that combination.
They had been on a losing streak of three games before to their victory over the Pacific Division-leading Sacramento Kings, which was accomplished thanks to the 31 points scored by Irving and the 29 points scored by Doncic.
The Dallas Mavericks are currently one half-game behind the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are currently in 10th place with a record of 39-42 and have one game left to play.
