Wear your favorite NBA shirt on the eve of the first game of the 78th NBA season to celebrate with other fans around the world.
The Denver Nuggets won their first NBA title at the end of the 2022–23 season more than three months ago. After a busy summer, people are getting more excited about the 2023–24 season. Media days start as early as Thursday, training camps begin next week, and preseason games are coming soon. The first night is coming up on October 24.
The NBA will hold its fourth annual Shirt Day on October 23 to keep the excitement going. Fans worldwide are invited to wear their favorite shirt to honor their favorite players and teams the night before opening.
Here are the steps fans can take to join:
1. Feel free to post pictures of yourself, your family, or your friends wearing an NBA, WNBA, or NBA G League shirt from any period.
2. #NBAJerseyDay is the slogan to use.
3. You can get your favorite teams and players to see you on the NBA App, league and team social media, or both.
Basketball fans have just over three weeks until NBA Shirt Day on October 23 to choose which shirt to wear from their collection or to get a new one for the next season. Your favorite player may have shifted teams over the summer. For example, Bradley Beal now plays for the Phoenix Suns, Marcus Smart for the Memphis Grizzlies, Chris Paul for the Golden State Warriors, Kristaps Porzingis for the Boston Celtics, and more. Don’t worry—you can still get their shirt in time for the party.
On October 23, in honor of NBA Jersey Day, the NBA’s LockerVision website will post the outfits that all 30 teams will wear during the first half of the next season. This will allow fans to watch their favorite teams and players.
You could support the next generation of NBA stars by cheering for some of this year’s best players, like Victor Wembanyama of San Antonio, Brandon Miller of Charlotte, or Scoot Henderson of Portland.
Or you’d instead honor the game’s greats by wearing a Hardwood Classics shirt with a classic look, like Magic Johnson’s No. 32, Larry Bird’s No. 33, Michael Jordan’s No. 23, or Allen Iverson’s No. 3.
Additionally, there are many players to pick from, and each team has a large selection of Nike Classic, Statement, Icon, and Association styles to help you find the right look.
The Orlando Magic, Charlotte Hornets, Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Utah Jazz are some teams that have already shown off their new looks for the next season. Besides that, there will be more as the season turns.
If you still need help finding the fitting shirt, you can shop at the NBA Store online, in New York City, or at an official team store in any NBA city. Make sure you choose your team before October 23 to celebrate NBA Jersey Day and prepare for the new basketball season.
